This image started out as a busy scene near Santa Cruz harbor. Many hikers were out along the jetty and there were people and other boats in the foreground. In my Photoshop, Corel and stylus hand-work magic, I created a more solitary scene with a lively sky. On this particular trip to the sea, I was with a very dear friend and we were blessed with frolicking whale sightings.

Lisa's art pieces are filled with color and occasionally her quirky sense of humor. Favorite subjects include animals and history. Her current projects include publisher queries for a recently completed Chinese railroad worker novel set on Donner Summit and developing multi-media Hiking and History Self-Guided Tours in Nevada County, California.
