This art piece started out as a photograph of a Japanese Maple tree, in fall, at the top of Broad Street in Nevada City California. Other elements were added, such as the water drops and different brushes were used to give the piece a textural element.

Lisa's art pieces are filled with color and occasionally her quirky sense of humor. Favorite subjects include animals and history. Her current projects include publisher queries for a recently completed Chinese railroad worker novel set on Donner Summit and developing multi-media Hiking and History Self-Guided Tours in Nevada County, California.
