In the winter and spring, newts begin a long journey. Traveling miles over land back to the pond or stream where they were born, they enter the water to wait for a female.
This design is part of a website development/filmmaking project about the Deer Creek watershed in Nevada County, California.
Five dollars from every sale (materials, tax, shipping + $5 = total price) of ‘Life on the Creek’ items will support the project while in production. Upon completion, money will be donated to organizations supporting environmental and cultural sustainability and overall watershed health.
