Graffiti photographed in the Donner Summit train tunnels and snowsheds between 2015 - 2018. A few remain but most have been or will be covered up as new work is created.
Walking or biking through the tunnels is part research for a historical novel project about Chinese immigrants who bore through the mountain for the Central Pacific Railroad. More information is available here - https://littlemountainpublishing.biz/books/crossings-east-work-progress
The other part is admiring the colorful art and enjoying outdoor activities in the Truckee / Donner area.
