Artist's Description
Both ends of the Tribute Trail suspension bridge feature nature altars. Walkers and hikers can offer special bits of nature giving thanks and appreciation for their outdoor experience. From day-to-day the character of the altar changes depending on who came by and what they left behind.
The masonry and offerings are digitally stylized and enhanced. Above the brown waves is an inset image of the creek few hundred yards below where the altar is located.
This art piece is part of a 'Life on the Creek' series. $5 from ever sale supports a documentary in the making. Once complete, the proceeds will be donated to creek stewardship organizations.
