This art piece was inspired by an article about author Jeff Rasley in a You Read It Here First blog. In the article, he describes swimming close to a mother whale. Looking eye-to-eye, they shared a communication where the mama allowed him to stroke her baby. I also have experienced moments of communication clarity with animals (though never as large as a whale!). This piece visually describes my thoughts and feelings about the connection between all life on mother Earth.
