This boardwalk / seating area on Commercial Street in Nevada City caused quite a stir when it was first installed. It took up three parking spaces. In it's place is a lovely outdoor seating area. The businesses, Contrast Outlet, Pete's Pizza, Cafe Mekka and Coopers, that are directly effected seem to be enjoying how customers and pedestrians are interacting with the structure.
